This is the best little neighbourhood bar in Brampton. It reminds me of Cheers where everyone knows your name, etc. Always friendly faces and friendly staff who make you feel right at home. Great place to hang out or wind down after a long day.

This was a very nice restaurant with good Italian food, everything was good - nothing great. The service was very attentive and professional. They have tons of parking and the decor is very clean and upscale. They can handle large parties of 30 to 50 people, I recommend Il Tartufo.

We arrived at the restaurant about 5:50 pm and it was packed. So upon arrival, we had to sign in and wait about 10 minutes. Then when we did get our table, we ordered our food and drinks, but due to the number of customers, our server was very distracted. So we ended up waiting 10 minutes for our food, but it was worth it when it arrived. The food was excellent, but our service was a little frustrating. The prices were also reasonable. It was about $33 for two of us to eat. Nonetheless, we will continue to go here.

Traveling from the U.S.A., I recently had the pleasure of dining at iL Forno in Woodbridge, ON, Canada, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. During my visits, I tried the Mediterranean pizza, chicken fricassee, grilled rib eye, and salmon fillet. While driving around the scenic Caledon Hills with two friends, we stopped for lunch at Tom's Family Restaurant. The service was warm and friendly, the atmosphere comfortable and relaxing, and the food was perfect for our needs - we didn't want an upscale, fancy restaurant, just a casual, friendly place with good food. I had some of the best fish & chips I've ever had. I couldn't resist trying the homemade strawberry-rhubarb pie, and it didn't disappoint - it was heavenly! My two friends were equally pleased with their meals. I would definitely come back to Tom's!

This is one of the best places for a burger in Brampton. Yes, it is $$$ for food there, but worth every penny. I say you get what you pay for. Portions are great, and the only bad thing I can say about them is they only take cash and no Interac.

The food is always fresh. The service is prompt and polite. But most important the restaurant always looks and smells clean.
The only thing I find wrong is that all the Mary Brown locations close at 2100 NOT 2300 as shown in the Yellow Pages.
Other than that I urge you to try their fine food. One of my favourites is the BIG MARY chicken sandwich. Enjoy their great food at very reasonable prices. (Next to Shoppers Drug Mart at Kennedy Rd. and Queen St.)
