I can't see how anyone who visits this jewel, hidden in the corner of the plaza, would find any fault at all. I stumbled upon Dennis' little oasis about 5 years ago and it has become a weekly ritual. Jerk chicken is to die for. Ox tail is the best I have ever had for sure and the rice and peas stand up to any carribean resaurant in the GTA for sure. I have moved to Calgary and put my family as 1A and the Jerk Pit as 1B as things I miss the most. No Caribbean restaurant out here even compares.

We really love the fish and chips here. It is lightly battered and just like authentic English Fish and chips. We have never eaten in, we always get it to go or delivered so i am not sure about table service.
Would highly recommend eating here.

Awesome roti...and a few of my friends from "the islands" agree whole heartedly! The most tender, juicy and tasty chicken roti, you won't be dissappointed! I moved from Unionville to Newmarket two years ago. I still make a monthly pilgrimage to Mr Fish and Chips because I haven't found anything remotely comparable from here to Vaughan. The fish batter is light and flaky. Their chips are good, but the potato fritters (my personal favourite) are lip-smacking goodness.
The eat-in area is pretty basic. Definitely NOT somewhere to go on a first date. Come for the food, not the ambiance.

Had a walnut tart that was simply delicious at the ribfest. Only wanted a portion as I have been dieting so bought one small. When I ate it later at home I was so happy I only bought one as I would have at the whole six it was so good. Thank Mr.WALL

Theyre the most polite people and man do they make fantastic pizza, poutine and garlic bread. Id really love to give them a 5 star but my only complaint is the price and even though it might be steep you really do get what you pay for.Also recommend they go with loaf bread for the garlic bread the slices are great but I feel that the given 8 might be a tad slim and even if they have to up the price a tad for a loaf I guess thats fine as well. Love the place recommend it over Bills Pizza House.

There are special offers in the restaurant: breakfast buffet on Saturday & Sunday from 8am-12pm for $6.99 per person. And dinner buffet is from Friday to Sunday from 5pm to 8pm, adult $12 and child $10.
