We booked a room at the hotel without knowing much about it. We were pleasantly surprised by a number of things. The hotel was in a good location in the downtown Toronto area. We went here for the Easter buffet brunch and to belatedly celebrate a milestone family birthday. The atmosphere was great overall; I was glad they seated us in the bright conservatory area, rather than the dimmer interior sections. There was a wonderful variety of food choices - menu items you wouldn't typically make at home or find at any run-of-the-mill buffet restaurant. The chef at the carvery was engaging, and the table wait staff were friendly, prompt and efficient. We bought a small item at the gift shop afterward, where prices were reasonable. My only 'complaint' would be that the cost of parking isn't included with the meal. It's expensive enough to eat there, especially with the prices raised due to the special holiday. Lire plus

We stayed here for two days. Our room was a very nice suite with a sitting area. The pool was nice but needs more venting because the steam makes it hard to breath. Check-in and out was easy and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the restaurant was not worth the money. If you are going to charge that kind of price or bacon and eggs it should be perfect and it was hardly that. I was pleasantly surprised to find a coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave available.
